Privacy Policy
Last updated August 7, 2026
This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it. It is written plainly on purpose — you are about to tell us private things about your life, and you are entitled to know where they go.
Who we are
The Connection Verdict is a written reading service operated by the company named in the footer of this page. You can reach a person at hello@theconnectionverdict.com.
What we collect
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Your name and email address | To deliver your reading and to write to you about your order |
| Your birth date, time and place | To calculate the chart your reading is built on |
| What you tell us about him — first name, birth details if you have them | To read the connection you asked about |
| Your account of the relationship, and your questions | This is the case itself. Without it there is no reading |
| Order details from the payment platform | To match your payment to your reading, and to handle refunds |
| Basic usage data and advertising identifiers | To understand which pages work. See Cookies and advertising below |
We never ask for and never want: your card number (the payment platform handles that and we never see it), your government identification, or the contact details of the person you are asking about. We do not contact him. Ever.
How your case is handled
Your reading is written using Ellen Hale’s method. Astronomical positions are calculated deterministically — the same arithmetic an astronomer uses — and the written document is produced with the assistance of modern language tools operating under that method, then reviewed before it is sent. Your case is used to produce your document. It is not used to train anybody’s models, and it is not sold, rented or shared for marketing.
Who else touches your data
Only the services required to run the business, and only for that purpose:
- The payment platform you checked out with — processes your payment. We receive your name, email and order details; we never receive card data.
- Cloudflare — hosting, database and document rendering.
- Resend — sends our email.
- Anthropic — the language model used in producing the document, under a commercial agreement that does not permit training on submitted content.
- Meta — advertising measurement only, and only if you arrived from one of our ads. See below.
We will disclose data if a law or a valid legal order requires it. Nothing else.
How long we keep it
- Your case and your reading: kept while your access to the library is active, so you can re-read the document you paid for. You can ask us to delete both at any time.
- Order records: kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.
- Testimonials: kept until you ask us to remove them.
Your rights
Write to hello@theconnectionverdict.com and ask for any of these. We do not require a form or a reason:
- A copy of everything we hold about you
- Correction of anything wrong
- Deletion of your case, your reading, and your record
- To stop receiving marketing email — every marketing message also has a one-click unsubscribe
These rights exist under the GDPR if you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, under the LGPD if you are in Brazil, and under state privacy laws including the CCPA if you are in the United States. We apply them to everyone regardless of where you live, because maintaining two standards would be worse than maintaining one.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising in the sense those laws define.
Cookies and advertising
We use a small number of cookies to keep the site working and to measure which pages lead to purchases. If you reached us from an advertisement, the advertising platform may receive an event indicating that a page was viewed or a purchase completed. That event does not contain your case, your questions, or anything you told us about the relationship.
Children
This service is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we delete it and refund the purchase.
International transfer
The company is established in Brazil and the service is delivered to customers worldwide, including in the United States and the European Union. Your data is processed on infrastructure located in several countries. Where the law requires a transfer mechanism, we rely on the standard contractual clauses offered by the providers listed above.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will say so on this page and change the date at the top. We will not apply a materially different policy to a case you already sent us.
